Who does Dogeared sell to?

We sell to brick and mortar stores, online stores, and catalog companies. We do not sell to home parties, traveling stores, eBay stores, and flea markets.

How do I become a Dogeared Retailer?

If you are interested in becoming a Dogeared retailer, simply go to our website www.dogearedwholesale.com and on the top navigation bar click on "New Retailers". Fill out the registration form and click "submit".

 

The approval process usually can take about one business week.
An email will be sent to you confirming your account status and you will receive a follow up phone call.

Does Dogeared have a catalog?

Yes, we have a beautiful and very user-friendly wholesale catalog. Before you can receive our fabulous catalog, you must first register as a new retailer. Once you are approved you will receive information on how to view our catalog Online or you can request a hard copy of the catalog.

This my first time order, where do I start?

Our amazing Dogeared sales team is available to assist you Monday through Friday from 8:30am- 5:30pm, Pacific Standard Time. They can help guide you through our very extensive line by providing you with information about our newest items, best sellers, long time favorites and everything in between.

What is your suggested retail price?

We suggest keystone (double the wholesale price) plus $2.
Dogeared does not sell to retailers who sell our jewelry for under keystone.

Does Dogeared sell to International Companies?

Yes, Dogeared sells to companies all over the world. To open an account with us, please fill out a new retailer registration form and click "submit".

About My Order

How long does a shipment usually take?

All of our jewelry is hand made to order, because of this our lead-time is 4-6 weeks from receipt of the order. When your order is received, you will be contacted with confirmation of receipt as well as provided with the X-factory date. Your order will leave our studio as soon as it is ready and no later than the X-factory dated quoted to you.

How do I know if my order was received?

When an order is received at Dogeared central, we will call or email you within 48 hours to provide you with confirmation of receipt and a ship date. If you have not heard from us within 48 hours, please contact us to ensure receipt.

Placing An Order

How do I place an order?

We welcome faxes, emails or call-ins. We also suggest downloading an order from our website www.dogearedwholesale.com Download an order form here.

To help simplify and expedite our ordering process, we request that you provide the following information:

    • Include all of your store information- address, contact numbers, buyers names or person placing the order
    • Include style numbers, quantity amounts and prices. This information ensures we send you exactly what you ordered and the correct amount
    • Include all product specifications or changes such as: charms, silk thread color, gem color, etc.
    • If sending multiple pages, please number all pages.

Is there a first-time order minimum?

For all first-time orders we require a minimum purchase of $300. First time orders are to be paid by credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

Is there a reorder minimum?

Yes, there is a $100 reorder minimum.

Is there a quantity minimum per style?

Overall, there are no quantity minimums, with the exception of Words, Ball-chains and Parts, which all have a 10 quantity minimum.

How do I find the product number I need?

You might have noticed that our usual style numbers are missing from the latest catalog. That's because we have introduced our new product numbers, an exciting tool designed to better serve you as Dogeared continues to grow.

Many of the new numbers are right there on the page with the product for quick ordering, but the products with many color options will be in the product guide (located in the back of the catalog). Just note the page number you're ordering from, look for the 1, 2, 3 next to the product you would like to order and the product guide will take you to all of the product numbers you need!

What forms of payment do you accept?

* All first time orders are to be paid by credit card only.
* Please Note: There is a $20 wire transfer fee which will be included on your order.

When do you charge my credit card?

Your credit card is charged once your order goes into production. This is approximately two weeks before the order ships.

Can I pay in Net 30 terms?

Net 30 payment terms are not available for first time customers. Net 30 terms are only available upon approval. The approval period may take up to two business weeks.

How can I apply/qualify for Net 30 Terms?

To apply for Net 30 Terms, please fax or email 5 trade references for approval to "Attention: Sales Department" at (310)846-4448 or .

  • You must include phone and fax numbers as well as contact names for your trade references.
  • Once the approval process is complete you will receive a letter regarding your terms status with Dogeared.

*Please Note: Approval process may take up to two business weeks.

Shipping Information

How does Dogeared ship?

All packages are sent out via UPS ground. Upgraded UPS shipping is available upon request. To ship FedEx or DHL we require your company's account number. We do not ship via USPS (United States Postal Service).

Do you Drop Ship?

No, we do not ship directly to your customer. We only ship directly to your store.

How do I know my ship date?

All orders are confirmed via phone or email. When we confirm your order we will always quote you the x-factory date. If you do not receive a confirmation of your order within 48 hours, please contact us at (310)846-4444 or to confirm receipt of your order.

How do I receive my tracking information once my order is shipped?

To obtain your tracking number please contact our fabulous sales department at or call us at (310)846-4444.

 

If you would like to automatically receive the tracking number for your orders each time they ship, just let us know and provide us with a contact name and email address.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Shipping costs are based on the weight and value of the package. Shipping costs will vary from order to order.

Where are my Dogeared Jewels shipping from?

All of our jewels are handmade in our design studio in sunny California. We ship our amazing jewels & gifts from our studio right to you!

Where can I get a Dogeared display rack and what are the dimensions?

Display racks are $25/each or are free with most starter kits. To order, simply write "display rack" and the quantity on your order. Our display rack measures 7x14 inches and can hold 28 carded necklaces comfortably or 33 necklaces max.

Does Dogeared offer exclusivity?

Dogeared does not offer exclusivity. We have a very extensive line with many different collections. This allows you to order for your store and your customer.

Does Dogeared monitor proximity?

Dogeared does not monitor proximity. Dogeared has been in business for over 16 years and has many customers all over the world. Our customers range from small boutiques, to spas and resorts, to specialty department stores, to high-end stationary stores, to gifts stores, etc. Our product appeals to a wide range of people and is a sell through line for many different stores.
