Dogeared was born in 1991, when Marcia Maizel-Clarke began creating handmade jewelry. The look was hip, casual, and very California, and people loved it! She and her husband Merlin had always dreamed of finding a way to share their good energy and creativity with the world, and this was it.

hand crafted jewelry. During our first 20 years, we have enjoyed tremendous success, many industry firsts, and evolved into a global brand that is worn and loved by people everywhere!
Dogeared speaks to people on many levels... Inspired by California's natural beauty and casual lifestyle, our designs have a unique and eclectic point of view. Looks range from simple, timeless jewels, to vintage-inspired creations with an heirloom feel, to relaxed pieces with earthy, bohemian aesthetic.
